Colombo will host one of the world’s most recognised stand-up comedians later this month as Russell Peters brings his internationally acclaimed comedy to Sri Lanka.
The globally celebrated comedian is scheduled to perform live on 31 March 2026 at 6.00 p.m. at Lumina at Cinnamon Life City of Dreams, marking a highly anticipated evening of entertainment in the capital.
The Colombo show forms part of Peters’ latest RELAX World Tour, which is currently travelling across major cities around the world. Known for his fast-paced delivery, cultural humour and relatable storytelling, Peters has built a reputation for drawing laughter from audiences with his observations on everyday life, family dynamics and global cultures.
Prior to arriving in Sri Lanka, the comedian will perform in several Indian cities including New Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Shillong and Kolkata, before taking the stage in Colombo for this special one-night engagement.
The event is expected to attract a wide cross-section of attendees including corporate professionals, expatriates, and comedy enthusiasts, making it one of the most anticipated international comedy events to be staged in Sri Lanka this year.
The Colombo performance of the RELAX World Tour is presented with Australian Migration Consultants (AMC) as the title partner. Other partners supporting the event include Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Sri Lanka, Nations Trust Bank (American Express), Ceilao Enterprises Ltd., Wijeya Newspapers Ltd., and MBC Networks Ltd.
