The Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) successfully concluded its annual Swimming Championship 2025 at the Thurstan College Swimming pool, drawing enthusiastic participation from across the travel and hospitality sector.

With over 100 participants competing, among the standout achievements, Sri Lankan Airlines was the overall champions, while Thiviru Wijesinghe from  Aitken Spence Travels was the overall male champion and Tahanie Yu from Resplendent Ceylon and Shenora Nethmi from Sri Lankan Airlines were the joint overall women’s champions .

Speaking on the success of the meet, Dilshan Gnanapragasam, President of TTSC, said: “This event once again proved how sport has the power to bring our industry together.”

The Travel Trade Sports Club extended its gratitude to the Principal Sponsor, Trip Fusion DMC for their invaluable support, as well as to all participants whose enthusiasm and sportsmanship ensured the event’s success.

The awards presentation was made Chaminda Dias, Managing Director Trip Fusion DMC, Dilshan Gnanapragasam – President Travel Trade Sports Club and members from both Trip Fusion DMC and the TTSC Committee.
