Skal International Colombo is geared up to host the 54th Asia Congress in Colombo from 26 – 28 June, welcoming over 200 delegates from across the Asian region. The prestigious event will also see the presence of the World President Denise Scrafton of Skal International, alongside government officials, tourism leaders and industry stakeholders.
The congress is proudly supported by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, further reinforcing the country’s commitment to establishing itself as a regional hub for business and leisure tourism.
The Taj Samudra Colombo has been named the official hotel and main venue for the congress, while Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Ramada by Wyndham Colombo, and Blue Orbit Colombo join as partner hotels, providing premium hospitality for the Skal international delegates.
SriLankan Airlines, the national carrier, has been confirmed as the official airline partner, while Aitken Spence Travels, one of Sri Lanka’s leading DMCs, will serve as the official ground handling partner, ensuring smooth logistics and local experiences for attendees.

Organised annually by Skal International, the world’s largest network of tourism professionals, the Asia Congress rotates among member countries to foster business, friendship, and sustainable tourism. The 2025 edition in Colombo is expected to elevate Sri Lanka’s standing on the global tourism map as a must visit destination in South Asia.
