The 12th edition of the country’s first tourism product meet mart runs for 2 days at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Exhibition Halls, BMICH, Colombo and will highlight the key industry products and services
With over 240 exhibitors and an expected footfall of more than 5,000 visitors over two days, Sancharaka Udawa 2025 continues to serve as a dynamic platform for industry stakeholders to connect, collaborate, and showcase the very best of Sri Lanka’s tourism offerings.
Designed to strengthen meaningful interactions between local tourism service providers and buyers, Sancharaka Udawa brings together a broad cross-section of the travel and tourism industry, including destination management companies, hotels, boutique villas, adventure operators, transport providers, and community-based tourism projects.
Speaking at the opening, SLAITO President Nalin Jayasundera said “Sancharaka Udawa has grown into a vital platform that unites the tourism community of Sri Lanka. It not only promotes sustainable and inclusive growth but also empowers small and medium enterprises to connect with the mainstream industry and expand their market reach.”
This year’s exhibition comes at a critical time as the tourism industry steadily rebounds, with renewed interest in Sri Lanka as a top travel destination in South Asia. The event is expected to stimulate new business opportunities and enhance the visibility of Sri Lanka’s diverse travel experiences among local and global audiences.
Sancharaka Udawa 2025 is open to both trade professionals and the general public, offering networking sessions, live demonstrations, and informative seminars across the two days.
