A highlight of this year’s celebration is a special partnership with flydubai, which has helped enhance the culinary offering at the hotel during Ramadan 2026.

Recognising the significance of Ramadan, the partnership created an ideal opportunity to celebrate the season through gastronomy. As part of the collaboration, Flydubai supported Cinnamon Grand Colombo for visiting Pakistani chefs, Chef Samran and Chef Yasir, who were specially invited to curate the hotel’s Iftar culinary experience.

Both chefs bring with them a wealth of culinary expertise from Pakistan, with Chef Yasir also having gained valuable experience working in Saudi Arabia. Their deep understanding of traditional spices, regional cooking techniques and authentic recipes allowed them to craft a menu that beautifully reflected the rich culinary traditions associated with Ramadan.

Specialising in Pakistani and Arabian cuisine, the chefs worked closely with the hotel’s culinary team to present a vibrant spread of dishes that captured the essence of Iftar. Guests were treated to an array of authentic flavours, from fragrant rice preparations and hearty meat dishes to traditional appetisers and indulgent desserts, creating a dining experience reminiscent of the bustling Ramadan tables across the Middle East and South Asia.

The experience was further complemented by the impeccable service that the hotel is known for. Under the leadership of General Manager Nazoomi Azhar, the team at Cinnamon Grand Colombo ensured that every detail was carefully managed, from the presentation of the buffet to the attentive service that welcomed guests each evening.
