SriLankan Airlines delivered a strong performance at the World Airline Cricket Tournament 2026, emerging as Plate Winners during an exciting week of cricket at The Sevens, Dubai from 1–8 February.

Marking its return after 28 years and proudly hosted by the Emirates Group, the tournament brought together airline teams from across the globe, celebrating competition, camaraderie, and the unifying power of sport. Led by Captain Chaminda De Zoysa, SriLankan Airlines’ achievement was a proud highlight in a tournament defined by teamwork and international connection. With Dasees Ishanthamaal named Most Valuable Player and Asitha Waduarachchige awarded Best Batsman, SriLankan Airlines’ performance stood out among the competition.
