Hilton Colombo Launches ‘Flavors of Vietnam’ Culinary Festival with Hilton Da Nang

This August, Hilton Colombo is bringing the vibrant taste of Vietnam to Sri Lanka with Flavors of Vietnam, a 10-day culinary showcase at Graze Kitchen until 30 August 2025. Presented in partnership with Hilton Da Nang, the festival features an authentic Vietnamese dining experience curated by two of its celebrated chefs—Nguyễn Đắc Khoa and Trần Văn Toàn.

The event invites diners on a nightly gastronomic journey through Vietnam’s rich culinary regions, featuring time-honored dishes prepared using traditional techniques, fresh herbs, and signature spices. Guests can expect a flavor-packed buffet journey from the slow-simmered broth of Phở Bò, to the sizzling aroma of “La Vọng” grilled fish, the crunch of warm freshly baked Bánh Mì, and the bold finish of flame-grilled charcoal barbeque.

Additional highlights include stuffed squid, grilled Bò in betel leaf, wok-fried tiger prawns, and delicate Vietnamese pancakes cooked to order. Every dish reflects the soulful diversity of Vietnamese cuisine and its deep culinary heritage.

The festival was opened on 21 August with a ceremonial welcome led by H. E. Ms. Trịnh Thị Tâm, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Sri Lanka. The evening featured a traditional Vietnamese dance performance and taste of the guest chef creations, setting the tone for a 10-day long celebration of craft, flavor, and cultural connection.

“Through this partnership with Hilton Da Nang, we are thrilled to bring a slice of Vietnamese hospitality to Colombo,” said Manesh Fernando, area general manager of Hilton Sri Lanka. “From street food staples to festive favorites, this festival celebrates building connections through the universal language of food.”
