The Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the 2025 Softball Cricket Tournament, which will take place on Sunday 3rd August at the SLLDC and Shalika Grounds. The annual tournament, a much-loved fixture on the travel and tourism industry’s sports calendar, will be sponsored by Aitken Spence Travels, a long-standing supporter of industry engagement and sporting camaraderie.

The event brings together teams from across Sri Lanka’s travel trade  including travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, hotels, and other sector-related organisations  for a day of fun, fellowship, and spirited competition. The tournament offers an opportunity for industry professionals to connect off the field, build team spirit, and promote wellness through sport.

Commenting on the announcement, the TTSC President Dilshan Gnanapragasan said “The Softball Cricket Tournament continues to be one of our most popular events on the TTSC calendar and we are grateful to Aitken Spence Travels supporting this initiative, which encourages both friendly competition and unity within the travel trade community.”

Registrations are now being accepted, and interested teams are encouraged to apply early to avoid disappointment. Participation is open to all member organisations of the Travel Trade Sports Club.
