Yazu at the Beach, Galle’s vibrant beachfront Pan-Asian dining destination, is bringing its distinctive culinary experience to Colombo for an exclusive one-night pop-up at Canapé Bistro, located on the rooftop of Sesaya in Rajagiriya, on 25 July 2026. 

Taking place from 6.00 p.m. to 11.30 p.m., the “Coast to City” collaboration will combine Yazu’s bold Pan-Asian flavours with the relaxed, open-air atmosphere of Canapé Bistro. Set above the city, Canapé is Sesaya’s rooftop dining destination, known for its thoughtfully balanced global flavours, skyline views and golden-hour experiences. Sesaya positions itself as Sri Lanka’s first poshtel, bringing together contemporary accommodation, design, affordability and community under one roof.  

Located on the beachfront of Radisson Blu Resort Galle, Yazu at the Beach is the first international outpost of India’s acclaimed Yazu brand. Its culinary identity brings together Japanese precision, Thai vibrance and Cantonese depth through sushi, dim sum, wok-tossed dishes, grills and Asian-inspired beverages.  

The special pop-up menu will feature turnip cake, truffle edamame and cream cheese dumplings, sriracha chicken dumplings, prawn hargow, pork gyoza and chicken bao. Guests can also enjoy crispy avocado and cucumber rolls, prawn tempura rolls, prime beef skewers, spicy kimchi fried rice and Thai green curry with jasmine rice, followed by Yazu’s Matilda Cake Pull Me Up.  

The drinks selection includes Yazu cocktails such as Osamu, Barely Innocent and Democrat, alongside refreshing mocktails including Mock Penzi, Heat Check and Summer Cooler.
